2027 Agenda
The Stages
Six stages, one venue, three shows. Whether you want structured planning content, hands-on technology demos, a facilitated problem-solving session or a specialist deep dive, there's a stage built for how you actually want to engage across Traffex, Parkex and Cold Comfort 2027.
The Roadmap Theatre
From strategy to the reality of delivery.
Structured sessions built for local authorities, Tier One contractors and traffic management companies. This stage moves beyond high-level strategy to the reality of delivery, with sessions focused on the how of major project implementation, the tangible results of new maintenance techniques, and the real-world performance of materials and operational strategies. Planning-led, with budgets, frameworks and case studies drawn from real projects.
The Exchange
The informal stage, with sessions across all four themes.
A more informal space for live product demonstrations and hands-on sessions. The Exchange isn't limited to technology content, it hosts sessions across all four 2027 themes (The Delivery Gap, Zero Harm Real Progress, Roads Rewired and Built to Last), just delivered in a more relaxed, drop-in format than The Roadmap Theatre: live implementation, data deep dives and hardware in action alongside the same practical, how-to conversations.
The Solutions Studio
Real challenges. Real solutions. Facilitated, not broadcast.
An intimate, facilitated environment where real project challenges are worked through via peer-to-peer discussion and direct access to experts. Small tables, six people maximum per session, 45 minutes each: a partner presents a real-world implementation challenge, the table works through it together, and everyone leaves with concrete next steps rather than a set of slides.
EV Connect
Where the UK's EV infrastructure challenges meet real-world solutions.
With a focus on implementation, this stage brings together public and private sector professionals to explore how EV charging networks are actually being delivered, from planning and procurement through to installation, integration and long-term maintenance.
BPA Live
Practical tech, not futurism.
Delivered in partnership with the British Parking Association, BPA Live covers everything parking: government updates on the National Parking Platform, parking technology and structural safety, blue badge enforcement, and the John Heasman Innovation Awards.
Resilience Theatre
Winter. Resilience. Results.
Supported by the National Winter Service Research Group, this stage brings together highway authorities, contractors, meteorologists, equipment suppliers and consultants for the practical discussion and knowledge exchange the sector depends on: operational improvement, climate adaptation, contractual risk, flood resilience, forecasting under uncertainty and communicating winter risk to the public.
