Executive Director, Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS)

Jamie was appointed the new executive director of PACTS in May 2023, taking over from the outgoing David Davies. Jamie brings wealth of knowledge and experience, having moved from National Highways, where he built up over 20 years of experience. At National Highways, he was responsible for improving driver compliance on the strategic road network and led trials of new equipment to detect close following, and mobile phone and seatbelt offences. He has worked closely with the police, DVLA and many other leading stakeholders. He is a civil engineer and vice-chair of the ITS(UK) Enforcement Working Group.
