Richard Fenwick

Richard Fenwick is Director of Highways at Warwickshire County Council. Having worked in various roles in the public sector highways, including maintenance and design, he has a varied experience of a wide variety of issues. As an NEC-accredited Service Manager, Richard has worked in contract management on NEC contracts as well as developing Policy and Strategy for local government, collaborating with other organisations through forums such as the UKRLG Asset Management Board, NWSRG and ADEPT Engineering Board to feed into national guidance.

His current challenge is to strike a balance between the day-to-day pressures of County Highways and Engineering Design Services within Warwickshire, whilst contributing to the strategic management of the highways network in both a local and national political setting.
