Policy Lead - Infrastructure , Road Haulage AssociationJames Barwise is the Policy Lead for Infrastructure at the Road Haulage Association. Prior to joining the RHA, James began his career as an Assistant Transport Planner for Oxfordshire County Council, before working for Cambridgeshire County Council for 10 years in transport
policy teams. His final role with CCC was leading the organisation’s response to NSIPs.
His main interests at the RHA concern looking at whether the UK highways network meets the needs of road freight and examining the links between the planning system and freight infrastructure. Outside of work, his interests include theatre, chess, board games, and golf.
