Daniel Gardner-Declaudure

Daniel joined MetDesk in 2015 as a meteorologist and is now an Assistant Forecast Manager. His work focuses on transport forecasting, with particular experience in winter highways operations.

He has delivered extensive client training across the transport and local authority sectors, running dozens of weather courses for decision-makers, and has advised on weather station placement and the climatological optimisation of forecast domains.

Alongside this, Daniel works on MetDesk’s energy bench, providing briefings to the energy industry from intraday renewables forecasting through to seasonal outlooks, and he also manages part of the team of meteorologists at MetDesk.
