Principal Civil Engineer and Engineering Manager, Transport for LondonAshraff is a highly experienced and motivated chartered civil engineer and ICE fellow, having worked in the railway industry for over 21 years, starting as an intern in the Japanese Railway on the Ginza Line Extension.
During 12 years at Transport for London, Ashraff has undertaken roles which have put his at the forefront of design, construction, asset management risk-based strategies, whole life cycle assessment, asset performance and reliability.
Presently, Ashraff is a lead civil engineer for the Piccadilly Line Upgrade Programme, leading 12 civil and structural engineers and responsible for asset protection wide LU networks.
Ashraff has also specialised in career appraisal for ICE Chartered and mentoring, providing support to professional engineers to achieve their chartership status.
