The 641 employs 3D stereo-optics to detect and monitor pedestrians and cyclists waiting to cross the road, so the crossing phase is only called when they are present in the wait area. It has an outstanding capability to detect people while rejecting shadows, litter, leaves and other small objects like birds in the zone.

Multiple units integrate to cover ‘super-crossings’. It is a high-performance product that processes information on board with new chip-set and sophisticated algorithms for automated decision-making to provide ultra-reliable detection. The AGD 645 employs 3D HD stereo-optics to detect stationary & moving targets over a large 10m x 3m zone and provides Volumetric Data in the form of percentage occupancy. It has an outstanding capability to detect people while rejecting shadows, litter and leaves and small objects such as birds walking through the zone. The platform covers the needs of ‘Smart City’ systems with: IP, POE, Volumetric and real-time video capabilities which allow the 645 to feed data and pictures ‘down the wire’ straight into ITS control rooms - empowering truly informed dynamic decision-making.

The AGD650 employs high grade optics and deep learning image recognition to detect stationary and moving targets as they approach the stop-line. The neural net has undergone extensive training to develop a library of vehicle types. Objects that are not defined within this library are simply ignored. This exciting platform will have future capability to support the needs of smart cities by exporting detailed information about target types. The IP, POE, real-time video, capabilities will be accessed ‘down the wire’ straight into ITS control rooms - empowering truly informed decision making.

Mounts on existing poles, easily integrates with controllers and uses WiFi AGD Touch-setup for simple, safe configuration. Now with the ability to detect stationary or queuing traffic – ideal for MOVA installations and other strategic applications.

AGD 641 Pedestrian Detector
The AGD641 pedestrian detector has been designed for the detection and monitoring of pedestrian and cyclists waiting to cross the road to ensure the crossing phase is only called when pedestrians or cyclists are present.
The AGD641 is a replacement for the AGD640 Pedestrian Detector which has successfully been deployed on over 15,000 sites worldwide. The ground-up development of the 641 is a 3D stereo-vision optical system capable of detecting moving and stationary targets over a 4m x 2m zone. The 641 maintains class-leading shadow and unwanted object rejection.
AGD 645 Pedestrian Detector
A smart optical kerbside detector that delivers robust detection within larger 10m x 3m zones and is super-crossing compatible. Now with volumetric capability for accurate monitoring of the level of pedestrian occupancy in the wait zone. Advanced optics offer enhanced detect and reject, while the 645’s IP capability means real-time video and cancelled demands data can be fed to control rooms, where zones can be adjusted remotely. AGD’s 343 deploys proven enforcement-grade radar and sophisticated measurement techniques to quantify speed, range and length of passing vehicles. Detailed traffic information such as, ‘is traffic free-moving, slowing or starting-to-queue?’, is available in all weather conditions to inform control rooms, allow instant decision making and paves the way for the roads of the future.
AGD radar is mounted on existing roadside poles or gantries, crucially at a 30o angle. The additional capability to operate at a > 2-metre offset, while maintaining a 6-metre plus mounting height, ensures reliable operation in managed motorway scenarios and ALR (All Lanes Running) schemes.
