Futures Day Programme

For the first time at Traffex, we launched a Futures Day programme where undergrads, sixth formers, apprentices and graduate trainees got to meet key industry people and took part in interactive seminars and discussions aimed at helping their careers. Contributions from the following organisations included:

WJ presentation on Stand H090

Garry Duncan and the WJ Products Director and his technical team will provide a very engaging 15 minute presentation about the importance of the chemistry and physics visitors may have learnt and how it is applied in industry for road marking materials. Taking place on the WJ Group Stand H090 for groups of students, they will build a pyramid of ingredients explaining where in the world we source materials and the function they play within any formulated road marking. This is capped by highlighting the varied career opportunities in our sector for chemists, engineers, operators, commercial, marketing, finance and administration.
